PARENT TRAINING INSTITUTE
What is it?
- A 6-week parent training program
designed specifically to teach parents how to access the best quality
education their child’s school has to offer.
- This powerful field tested curriculum
teaches parents how to:
Become
actively and positively involved in their child’s educational
process.
- Recognize the key elements
that every parent needs to know in order to help their child
as well as other children achieve academic success.
- Walk through the steps to build
a strong, healthy relationship between parents, students, teachers,
counselors and school administration.
- Use strategic steps to resolve
discipline and other school related issues.
- Become strong, positive, knowledgeable
advocates for their child at the school site.
How does it work?
- Parents attend and learn in
a classroom model, to become effective, knowledgeable advocates
for their children.
- Activity based AAP/CCEE Parent
Training Curriculum “Parents Teaching and Learning
From Parents” is available only to program participants.
- Parents meet one night per week,
two to three hours per night.
- Parent support teams are formed
using our unique, field tested, proprietary curriculum.
Who teaches the program?
- AAP/CCEE will provide 2 certified
AAP/CCEE Parent Training Institute facilitators
